I'm a big believer in increasing one's self-sufficiency. If we can do something for ourselves - why leave it for someone else to do for us? We can grow our own food, take care of our basic health and always strive to learn more than what we know right now. That's why I started and write the 'Brace Yourself' newsletter. So I could teach others how to build their self-reliance with next to no budget. I'm a life-long learner, lover of good chocolate, black coffee and life in the woods. My life out here in the woods is never boring. I live among the wolves, bears and moose. Frequently they land in the pages of my stories. I write flash & short fiction across a wide scope of genres, much of which you'll find here I'm also a mystery writer who finds crime investigation fascinating. One minute I might be rambling off some random historical fact about fingerprints, and the next I could be telling you about the first crime-scene reconstruction. To house those juicy tidbits, I write and maintain the newsletter, 'Behind The Crime Scene Tape'.
